Tsunami.......I tried reading a bit more about ..

A tsunami (pronounced su-nah-me) is a wave train, or series of waves, generated in a body of water by an impulsive disturbance that vertically displaces the water column. Earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, explosions, and even the impact of cosmic bodies, such as meteorites, can generate tsunamis. Tsunamis can savagely attack coastlines, causing devastating property damage and loss of life.

How do tsunamis differ from other water waves?

Tsunamis are unlike wind-generated waves, which many of us may have observed on a local lake or at a coastal beach, in that they are characterised as shallow-water waves, with long periods and wave lengths. The wind-generated swell one sees at a California beach, for example, spawned by a storm out in the Pacific and rhythmically rolling in, one wave after another, might have a period of about 10 seconds and a wave length of 150 m. A tsunami, on the other hand, can have a wavelength in excess of 100 km and period on the order of one hour.

I remember , in 9th std. our geography teacher told us , very soon global warming will start showing results. Icebergs will melt, many towns will get disappeared under water, seasons will change. In India, 3 specific seasons , Monsoon  will not remain well defined ! Pune was  and will become hill-station ! Trust me , Looking at recent 5 yrs ; i think we must start storing fur-coats as well ! May be withing 2-3 coming yr s we may enjoy sensational snow fall in " INDIA>>Maharashtra>>Pune !! "... !!

Usual time of arrival for pre-mansoon is May end-June ; where monsoon arrives at June 1st -mid of June. 
Hey....... We are reaching highest temp. around 40 -45 c.degrees not in May ; but in March itself !! And guess what ....... !! Its pre-monsoon arriving with shivering N thunders N lightnings....WOooooow! in April itself !! 
Last year Monsoon arrived lately ; rather  than June 1st week it went almost to late July extending upto mid winter ! 


So, really its changing ! Acceleration is high ! Changes will change many things .... wrt current hot topics; crops , agriculture , economy ........ many things.. !!


Things to be noted , Its a "CHANGE" ....... ! Big CHange !

 लोकप्रिय अणि जेष्ठ अभिनेते शम्मी  कपूर आप्ल्यातुं गेल्याचे वृत्त . सार्या न्यूज चानेल वर त्यान्न्ची खुप गाजलेली गाणी दिसली ; एक स्वरांजलि .. ! पेपरातउन त्यांच्या " तेक्नोसावी  " पानाबद्दल कलले  ; त्यांच्या किडनी च्या प्रदीर्घ आजाराबाबत कळले . माझ्यातली डाएटीशीयन पटकन म्हणाली ; " श्याट ! आधी माहित असतं ; तर काहीतरी माझ्या इवलुश्या ज्ञानाचा कुठेतरी उपयोग झाला तर . !!"  ( तब्बल ७ वर्षे डायलिसीस वर रहाणे म्हणजे अर्थातच त्यांच्या शारीरिक आणि मानसिक स्वस्थ्याची त्यांनी काळजी घेतलेली होतीच ! ) शम्मी कपूर यांची व्हिडियो वाली साईट बघितली ..  आमचे टेक्नोसावी जेष्ठ अभिनेते आणि काश्मीर कि काळी मधला शम्मी !

 

हेय.... " Tarif Karun Kya Uski "  मधला एनरजी  टिक ; जोषिला ; टाळ्यांच्या शेवटच्या काद्व्यावर थीरकनारा बेहान शम्मी पिढ्या न पिढ्यान साठी " शम्मी " च राहणार ! सदाबहार तरुण .. शब्दच सुचत नाहीएत ! असं व्यक्तिमत्व .. ! शम्मी  आणि  मोहम्मद रफी साहेबांचा आवाज , ओ.पी. नाय्यारंच संगीत आणि अक्षरशा भावना ओवलेली गाणी चिरंतन , स्वर्गीय्य अशी गाणी  पिढ्या न पिढ्यांना आपल्या तालावर ठीर्क्वित राहिली. यापुढेही राहतील. " इशारो इशारो में" मध्ये ऐन १४-१५ वर्षांच्या शर्मिला आजी , त्याचं लाडिक हास्य , गालावरची खळी आणि लालचुटुक लिपस्टिक , गुलाबी ब्लश , पाणीदार निरागस बोलके डोळे सांगून गेले कि शम्मी जींच्या पुढची काही दशके गाजवणारी सौंदर्याच्या अधिराणी येत आहेत !

लहानपण देगा देवा ...........

हे जीवन सुंदर आहे ....... ! हे स्मिता तळवलकरच किती सुंदर गाणे ! कधीतरी याच नाण्याची दुसरी बाजूपण दिसते. माणूस मोठा होतो ; घरापासून शाळेपासून ऑफिसातल्या कामात गुंततो. आजुबाजूच वातावरण बदलत , आजूबाजूचे लोक बदलतात. मित्र -मित्र म्हणणारा कधी पाटीवरची पेन्सिल खाल्ल्याच  गुपित आई ला सांगतो, कधी ऑफिसात चुगल्या करतो. कटकटी असतात ; सगळीकडेच. पण वयाबरोबर , आपल्या यशाबरोबर हि कटकटीनची तीव्रता वाढत जाते. 

     गम्मत आहे ! आपले आई बाबा , आप्तजन, आपल्या शाळेतल्या बी सारे जण असताना आपल्याला जपले जाते हळुवार तळहाताच्या फोडासारखे. आणि नाण्याच्या दुसर्या बाजूची सुरुवात होते ; so called " मोठ झाल्यावर " .. ! 

     तस म्हणलं तर प्रत्येकाला एकमेकांची गरज असते. कोणीतरी कोणालातरी त्रास देत असत. कोणीतरी कोणाचा तरी खांदा शोधत असतं. मग त्रास देणारेच खांदा देणारे का नाही होऊ शकत ? त्रास देणार्यांना असा वागण्यास कोण प्रवृत्त करते? यशाची अतिरिक्त हाव , सौज्ञा हरविलेले यश शोधण्याची व्यर्थ धडपड , चुरस , इगो,  पायखेची मनोवृत्ती, दडपण , एकाकी पण , व्यसनाधीनता , सारासार विचार करण्याची क्षमता हरविणे, गैर मार्गाने विचार करणे.... आणि बस ! चक्र सुरु ! 

      केवळ मनातून स्वच्ह राहिल्याने जगातील कित्येक हृद्य विकार टाळतील, माणूस  मन्सासची माणसासारखा वागल्याने तणाव, दडपण आणि कित्येक मनोविकार टाळतील. काम करणे आनंदमय होईल , एकमेकांच्या आनंदात सहभागी होऊन आनंद द्विगुण करता येईल. 

     तम वृत्तीच्या , वाम मार्गाला लागून आपण स्वतः आपल्या आयुष्याचे नुकसान करीत आहोत. कोणी वाचलच हे लिखान , पटलच यातलं काही, तर सुरुवात करावी स्वतः पासून.

    मनाशी म्हणून नका, असा वागला तर आमचा टिकाव कसा लागणार ! Define your definition of Success . कोणी वाईट वागल्यास आपण टिकाव धरू शकणार नाही असे वाटले , तर तोलावे स्वतःला आणि अपेक्षांना. बघावे समाधान . योग्य मार्गांनी मिळविलेले अमुक एक माझ्यासाठी समाधान कारक आहे ; हे जर कोणाला वाटलं तर मला नक्की कळवा. 

     असा एक प्रामाणिक रिप्लाय ; हे खरे यश असेल.
